Family Dinner
The IFC Family Dinner was a wonderful event with our partners. The evening was filled with personal stories and videos of the work of IFC in Indonesia. This event is to celebrate the past and look forward to the future work of IFC and the Hohidiai School. Dan Holmgren made a great presentation on the school construction site. He showed the two buildings that are completed and the two that are under construction. The school site will eventually have 15 buildings on the six acre site.
There are 190 children in the school this time and in July a new class begins. There will be a new ninth grade class as we add a grade each year the children in the school advance. We are very proud of the children and the academic abilities. The school was recently reviewed by a national accreditation panel and we received a “Grade A”. The highest grade that is given. This is a compliment to the hard work of the staff and everyone involved.
